A heart-shaped ceramic bauble, split down the middle. Their photograph on one side, and on the other In Loving Memory with their name, their years and a small heart.

Christmas is when an absence is felt most plainly. This is a way of having them on the tree — not a grand gesture, just somewhere for them to be while everyone else is in the room.

Printed to order in our Manchester studio, and it arrives ready to hang on a gold cord.

Personalisation

• Name – maximum 20 characters. A full name, a first name or what you called them all work – Annie Jones, Grandad, Uncle Pete
• Years – the years of their life, e.g. 1942-2026
• Photo – upload one picture of them
• The photo fills the right-hand half of the heart, so a picture of their face works better than one taken from a distance
• Keep them towards the middle of the frame – the curve of the heart trims the top and bottom of the photo
• The words In Loving Memory and the heart are part of the design and do not need to be entered
• Please check spelling and dates before ordering, as we print exactly as entered

As each bauble is printed to order, personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

FAQs

• What photo works best? A clear picture of their face. The photo fills half the heart, so a close portrait prints far better than a group shot or one taken from across a room.
• What if the only photo I have is an old one? Older photographs usually print well as long as they are in focus. A scan or a steady phone photo of a printed picture is fine; a photo of a photo taken at an angle is not.
• Where does the hanging hole sit? At the top of the heart, on the line between the photo and the wording. Keep their face below it.
• Can I put a relationship instead of a name? Yes. Grandad, Mum or Uncle Pete read just as naturally as a full name.
• Can I leave the dates off? Leave the field blank and we will print the name on its own.
• Is this suitable to give to someone else? Yes. It is often bought for a family member facing their first Christmas without someone, and it is sent plainly packaged rather than as an obvious gift.
• Do you do a version without a photo? Yes – we list an In Loving Memory bauble with the wording alone.
• Will the print fade? No. It is UV printed directly onto the ceramic rather than applied as a transfer.
• How do I look after it? Wipe it with a dry cloth and store it somewhere it will not be knocked about. Do not put it in water.
